Ingredients
- 1/2 c. celery, diced
- 1 c. carrots, diced
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 5 Tbsp. turkey fat or margarine, melted
- 2 c. broth, skimmed and hot vegetable liquid
- 1 c. cooked peas, drained
- 3 c. turkey, diced
- unbaked biscuits
Directions

1Cook carrots and celery together in boiling salted water 15 minutes; drain, reserve liquid for gravy.

2Blend flour, salt and fat; stir into hot liquid.

3Cook and stir constantly until thickened.

4Combine gravy, vegetables, and turkey.

5Place in greased baking pan.

6Bake 30 minutes at 425°.

7Remove from oven. Top with biscuits.

8Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 450°.

9Yields 6 to 8 servings.
