Ingredients: 1 German chocolate cake mix; 3/4 c. margarine, melted; 2/3 c. evaporated milk; 1 (14 oz.) bag light caramels; 1/3 c. evaporated milk; 1 c. chocolate chips; 1 c. chopped pecans

3/4 c. margarine, melted
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1 (14 oz.) bag light caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

Combine cake mix, margarine and 2/3 cup evaporated milk.

Pour half of the batter in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.

Melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Spread over cake. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts.

Spread remaining batter (will be very thick) over top. Return to oven at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes.
