  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions

    Mix cake mix per instructions.

    Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Meanwhile, melt caramels in evaporated milk and butter over low heat.

    After cake has baked for 15 minutes, then pour caramel mixture over top.
