  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix cake mix as directed on package.

    Pour 1/2 batter in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake for 10 minutes at 350°. Melt caramels in milk in saucepan; pour over cake.

    Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over baked cake.

    Add rest of batter; bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350°.

    Frost with milk chocolate frosting.
