- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
Directions

1Mix cake mix as directed except omit 1/4 cup of water and add 1/2 cup Eagle Brand milk to mix.

2Pour 1/2 the batter in 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.

4Take out of oven and have ready the caramel mixture.

5Melt caramels in 1/2 can Eagle Brand milk.

6Pour over first 1/2 of cake in pan, sprinkle nuts and chocolate chips over the caramel mixture.

7Add remaining batter. Bake until done.

8You may ice cake with chocolate icing.

9This is a very rich cake.
