  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (15 oz.) can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • dash of salt

Directions

    Melt margarine in 3 quart saucepan.

    Add sugar and salt. Stir.

    Blend in syrup.

    Add milk and stir.

    Heat mixture to 245° for about 10 to 12 minutes.

    Stir in vanilla.

    Pour into well buttered bowl.

    Cool.
