Directions

1Salt and flour chicken.

2Fry fast in hot oil just to brown on both sides.

3Place in casserole dish.

4Put thin slices of onion and 1 strip of bacon on each piece of chicken.

5Add enough water to almost cover the chicken.

6Cover with foil and bake at 300° for about 1 hour.

7Pour off water and save to make gravy.

8Put chicken back in oven just long enough to dry out a little.
