- 2 lb. green beans, with ends trimmed
- water
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
Directions

1Heat 1/2-inch water in 12-inch skillet to boiling and add green beans.

2Heat to boiling, then reduce heat to low.

3Cover and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, until beans are tender-crisp.

4Drain. Wipe skillet dry.

5In same skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil. Cook beans and 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper.

6Stir frequently until beans are tender.

7Remove from heat and stir in soy sauce.
