- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 c. milk
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Bake cake mix according to directions in layer cake pans. Cool completely.

2Combine milk and flour and cook until thick; allow to cool.

3In bowl, mix sugar, salt, Crisco, oleo and vanilla.

4Using mixer, beat good, adding flour and milk mixture a little at a time.

5Beat until fluffy.

6Cut the layers of cake in two and ice between layers.

7You'll have 4 layers when you are finished, but you have plenty of icing to apply a thick layer. Keep refrigerated.

8It really tastes like Twinkies.
