  • 3 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Romano Cheese
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika

    Heat oven to 400 degrees F.

    Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt.

    Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan on medium heat.

    Add garlic; cook and stir 1 min.

    Stir in flour; cook 1 min., stirring constantly.

    Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir 3 to 5 min.

    or until thickened.

    Add cheeses, pepper and paprika; cook and stir until cheddar is melted.

    Drain pasta.

    Add to cheese mixture; mix lightly.
