- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg
- milk
Directions

1Break the egg into a measuring cup.

2Add milk to egg to make 1/2 cup.

3Beat well; stir slowly into sifted dry ingredients.

4Add more milk, if necessary, but keep batter stiff.

5Drop into boiling stock with spoon dipped in stock.

6Cover; simmer for 2 minutes. Turn dumplings.

7Cook 2 more minutes.

8Serve at once.
