- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. peanut butter chips
- ice cream (optional)
Directions

1Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy. Combine flour, baking soda and salt.

2Add to butter mixture, blending thoroughly.

3Stir in chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.

4Spread batter into a greased and floured 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch jelly roll pan.

5Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.

6Cool completely; cut in 20 bars.

7Serve plain or topped with ice cream.
