Tyrolean Bacon Dumplings

- 1 large onion
- 7 oz. genoa salami (hard)
- 7 oz. lean bacon
- 10 stale rolls or 1 pkg. unflavored bread crumbs
- 4 eggs
- 1/8 tsp. marjoram
- 1 (46 oz.) can chicken broth
- milk and flour (as required)
Directions

1Finely chop onion, bacon and salami.

2Add salt and marjoram. Fry together until bacon is crisp.

3Drain off fat.

4Cut rolls into cubes; mix with eggs.

5Add bacon mixture; add milk and flour in quantity needed just to bind; mix very well.

6Allow to stand 1/2 hour.
