Ukrainian syrnyky, cottage cheese pancakes

- 400 grams cottage cheese
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 pinch vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 4 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
Directions

1I took 9% cottage cheese and sunflower oil, but you may use any oil to fry.

2Cheese shouldn't be wet.

3If it's wet, take a little more flour.

4Mix cottage cheese, flour, sugar, salt, and vanilla in a bowl.

5Mix well with a fork.

6Preheat skillet with oil.

7The temperature should be middle, if it's too low, syrnyky will melt and loose their form.

8If it's too high, they will burn.

9Put 1 tbsp of flour into small bowl.

10Form syrnyky with 2 (or 1 :) spoon

11Put into a flour and form nicely by hands

12Put onto heated skillet.

13Continue till you fill the skillet.

14Put the middle one the last.

15You should make them fast, but it you're slow, make all and then put all at the same time on the skillet.

16Fry until golden, gently turn to another side with fork.

17If you use thick wooden stick, you will probably spoil the form of syrnyky.

18Fry on the other side until golden

19Serve hot with favorite jam, honey, sour cream, tea or coffee.
