- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter flavor Crisco
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 3 c. all-purpose flour (plus 4 Tbsp., divided)
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Combine sugar and Crisco in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended.

3Add eggs, syrup and vanilla.

4Beat until blended and fluffy.

5Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

6Add gradually to creamed mixture. Mix until well blended.

7Divide into 4 quarters.

9If dough is too sticky or too soft to roll, wrap each 1/4 of dough with plastic wrap.

10Refrigerate at least 1 hour.)
