- 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/4 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. uncooked rice
- 2 tsp. plus 2 Tbsp. dried, minced onions, divided
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground pepper
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 medium head cabbage
Directions

1In large bowl, combine beef, water, eggs, rice, 2 teaspoons of the minced onion, salt and pepper.

2Mix thoroughly with hands and form into golf ball size balls.
