  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed or sliced pineapple (apricots or peaches may be used)
  • 1 white cake mix

Directions

    Melt butter and brown sugar in 13 x 9 x 2-inch or 12 x 8 x 2-inch pan.

    Drain pineapple.

    Arrange fruit on mixture in pan. Mix cake mix into batter following directions on box.

    Pour over fruit.

    Bake at 375° for 35 to 45 minutes.

    Invert on plate.

    Let syrup drain onto cake before removing pan.
