- 1/4 c. corn syrup
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 6 fresh pear halves
- chopped walnuts
Directions

1Melt butter in 9-inch square cake pan.

2Add corn syrup and brown sugar; blend.

3Fill 6 pear halves with walnut meats.

4Place cut side down in pan.

5Pour gingerbread batter over pears.

6Bake in moderate oven (350°) for 50 to 60 minutes.
