Upside-Down Ground Beef Pie

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. corn muffin mix
  • 1 can sandwich sauce

Directions

    Brown ground beef in skillet. Break meat up while cooking. Drain off excess drippings.

    Add sauce to meat; cook until thoroughly heated.

    Spread mixture over bottom of buttered 9-inch pie plate.

    Mix corn muffin mix according to directions. Spread evenly over top of meat mixture. Bake in a 375° oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Test for doneness.
