- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 5 c. milk
- 4 c. (1 qt.) heavy cream or 4 c. Milnot
- about 10 lb. crushed ice
- about 4 c. rock salt
Directions

1In a large bowl, beat eggs until foaming.

2Beat in sugar, vanilla and salt until most of the sugar has dissolved.

3Add milk and cream.

4Stir until well mixed.

5Pour into a 4-quart ice cream freezer can.
