  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 qt. milk
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk

Directions

    Mix 4 egg yolks with sugar in saucepan.

    Add 1 quart milk and pinch of salt.

    Heat until sugar is dissolved.

    Cool.

    Place cooled mixture in ice cream freezer container.

    Add pudding, evaporated milk, beaten egg whites and vanilla.

    Mix well and fill container with milk.

    Freeze ice cream.
