  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar or more
  • 4 tall cans evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. Junket ice cream mix
  • 2 Tbsp. vanilla or more
  • 1 tsp. salt or less
  • 1 gal. Lilly milk (rich milk)

    Beat eggs until light.

    Add sugar and mix well.

    Add canned milk.
  4. 4
    Mix in Junket mix, salt and vanilla.
  5. 5
    Pour into freezer can and finish up with Lilly milk up to about one inch from top. Freeze with 4 parts crushed ice and 1 part rock salt 40 to 50 minutes until hard.

    Makes 1 1/2 gallons ice cream.
