Vanilla Pudding

  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour

Directions

    Mix sugar, salt, cornstarch and flour in saucepan.

    Slowly stir in milk.

    Boil for 1 minute over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir half of mixture into egg yolks, then pour back into remaining pudding.

    Boil another minute, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Add butter and vanilla.

    Cool.
