  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup Land O Lakes Butter, softened
  • 2 Land O Lakes Eggs (yolks only)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • Decorator sugar, if desired

Directions

    Combine powdered sugar, butter, egg yolks and vanilla in bowl.

    Beat at medium speed until well mixed.

    Add flour and salt; beat at low speed until well mixed.

    Wrap dough in plastic food wrap.

    Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight until firm.

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Shape dough into 1-inch balls.

    Place 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.

    Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar.

    Sprinkle with decorator sugar, if desired.
