- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter (room temperature)
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 12 oz. vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 (7 oz.) pkg. grated coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped (optional)
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar.

2Beat in eggs, one at a time.

3Add the vanilla wafers alternately with the milk. Fold in coconut and pecans.

4Pour into an ungreased tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Serve with dollops of whipped cream.

5Cake may be frozen.
