  • 2 lb. veal, cut in bite size pieces
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 2 large peppers, sliced
  • 1 to 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 can Spanish sauce (16 oz.)
  • 1/4 c. sherry (optional)

Directions

    Brown meat in 3 tablespoons oil. Add sauce and seasonings, stir.

    Add the vegetables, cover and cook until meat is white and tender.

    Uncover last 15 minutes.

    Add wine.

    Serve on noodles, rice or side dish with potatoes.
