- 1 1/2 lb. veal, cut in cubes
- 1 Tbsp. mixed pickling spice
- 1 1/2 qt. water
- 1 large onion
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Remove large white and long red pepper from pickling spice. Leave a few cloves.

2Boil veal, salt and spice for 20 minutes.

3Add onion.

4Boil until meat is very tender, 1 hour.
