Ingredients
- 4 cups sweet fruit juice, of choice
- 1 pinch salt
- sugar (adjust according to sweetness of juice)
- 12 teaspoon vanilla flavoring (optional)
- 2 teaspoons agar-agar (or 1/4 c. agar flakes)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
Directions

1OPTIONAL: sugar or other sweetener to taste if juice isn't sweet enough.

2OPTIONAL: some grated citrus rind.

3OPTIONAL: fresh fruit to add to jell.

4Sprinkle the agar over the juice (with sweetener, salt and any flavoring).

5Let soak a few minutes.

6Then cook over medium heat until boiling.

7Agar powder just needs to simmer for a minute; flakes should simmer at least 5 minutes.

8Dissolve cornstarch in 1 Tbs water first, then stir in the agar mixture.

9Boil for 30 seconds.

10Pour into a bowl or small bowls.

11Place in refrigerator.

12When half-jelled, you can stir in fruit.

13Let set until firm and cold.
