- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine

- 2 cups milk

Directions

1Melt butter in 3-quart saucepan.

2Add onion, green pepper, carrot, potato and peas; cook 20 minutes or until tender.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in flour; cook 1 minute.

5Stir broth gradually into vegetable mixture.

6Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

7Reduce heat to medium.

8Add process cheese; stir until completely melted.
