- 3 to 4 lb. beef
- 2 c. water
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 medium potatoes, pared and cubed
- 4 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1 bay leaf (remove before serving)
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/4 tsp. rosemary
- 1 beef bouillon cube
Directions

1Put all ingredients into crockery vessel.

2Cut meat into large pieces if necessary to fit into vessel.

3Cover and cook 8 to 10 hours.
