- 1 soup bone
- 1 to 1 1/2 lb. soup meat
- 1 (1 pt. 2 oz.) canned tomato juice
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 3 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 lb. (2 c.) tomatoes
- 1 c. diced celery
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can corn
- 1 c. sliced carrots
- 1 c. diced potatoes
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen limas (anything else you like)
Directions

1Combine meat, tomato juice, onion, seasonings and 6 cups water in soup kettle.

2Cover and simmer 2 hours.

3Trim meat and cut in cubes.

4Strain broth and skim off excess fat.

5Return meat and add vegetables.

6Cover and simmer 1 hour.
