  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 1 (14 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrot
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 peppercorns
  • 3 beef bouillon cubes
  • 10 ounces frozen mixed vegetables

Directions

    Place stew meat in slow cooker.

    Add tomatoes, carrots, celery and onion.

    Combine water, salt, pepper and bouillon.

    Pour over meat in slow cooker.

    Cover and cook on low for 10 hours.

    Add mixed frozen vegetables during last hour of cooking.

    Remove from slow cooker and let cool.

    Place in freezer bag.

    Label and freeze.

    To serve: heat until hot and bubbly.
