- 3 c. potatoes, diced
- 2 c. carrots, diced
- 1/4 lb. salt pork, diced
- 1/2 c. onion, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. tomatoes, canned hot
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Cover potatoes and carrots with water or stock and cook until tender. Saute pork, onion and green pepper about 5 minutes, but do not brown. Add flour and blend.

2Add milk and cook 5 minutes stirring constantly until smooth.

3Add remaining ingredients and serve hot.
