Vegetable Noodle Bake

- 1 lb. green string beans, cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 c. diced carrots
- 4 c. medium white sauce
- 8 oz. broad noodles
- 1 medium onion, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. grated American or Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. buttered bread crumbs
Directions

1Cook beans and carrots in small amount of boiling, salted water.

2Drain and combine any leftover cooking water with milk in white sauce.

3Cook noodles.

4Add seasonings and cheese to white sauce.

5Combine with vegetables and noodles.

6Pour into greased shallow baking dish.

7Cover with buttered crumbs.

8Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
