- 2 cups basmati rice
- 3 onions, finley chopped
- 1 small cauliflower, chopped
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 cup cabbage, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 French beans, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic
- Small piece of ginger
- 4 green chilis
- Few cilantro leaves, chopped
- 2 cardamom
- 2 cloves
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- Salt to taste
Directions

1Grind together 3 cloves of garlic, 4 green chilies, and a small piece of ginger.

2Season oil with cardamom and cloves, add chopped onions, and fry until light brown.

3Add the ground spices and fry until oil separates.

4Add vegetables along with turmeric and coriander powder.

5Fry for 2 mins.

6Add enough water to boil veggies for 5 minutes.

7Half boil rice.

8Remove the starch from the rice and add it to the vegetables and mix well.

9Add a few leaves of mint and keep it on the stove over low flame for 3 mins. Serve hot with raitha.
