  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. olive or vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. red or green pepper strips
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano, crushed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans, drained
  • 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can sliced carrots, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained

Directions

    In skillet, cook garlic in oil.

    Add celery, pepper, mushrooms, oregano and Worcestershire sauce; cook until tender-crisp.

    Add beans and carrots; heat through.

    Put in a one-quart casserole dish and heat at 325° for 15 minutes.

    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
