Ingredients

  • 2 gal. water
  • 1 lb. cut up stew meat or roast
  • 7 beef billion cubes
  • 2 onions, cut up
  • 4 potatoes, diced
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can green beans, drained
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 1/2 small head cabbage, cut up
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • season to taste
  • 1 can sweet peas
  • 3 stalks celery, cut up

Directions

    Bring the first 4 ingredients to a boil.

    Boil 30-45 minutes, or until meat is tender.

    Add the rest of the ingredients. (You may grate one of the potatoes to thicken soup.)

    Bring to a boil again.

    Lower heat and simmer for 1 hour.

    The longer it simmers, the better it is!
