Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
- 3 to 4 c. water
- 2 lb. braised stew beef or a ham bone
- 1 (3 lb.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 3 medium diced white potatoes (optional)
- 1 small head shredded cabbage (optional)
- 1 (16 oz.) c. whole kernel corn
Directions

1Combine braise stew or ham with water and tomatoes.

2Let boil slowly for 30 minutes.

3Add frozen vegetables and cook for 30 minutes more.

4Add corn, potatoes and cabbage.

5Cook until done. Season to taste with salt, pepper and onion anytime during cooking.

6Yields approximately 4 quarts.
