- 1 lb. soup meat or soup bone
- 4 c. water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. washed rice or barley
- 2 c. tomatoes
- 1/4 c. sliced potatoes
- 1/4 c. diced carrots
- 1/4 c. chopped green beans
- 1/4 c. diced celery
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
Directions

1Place meat in 5-quart pressure cooker.

2Add remaining ingredients except parsley.

3Close cover securely.

4Place pressure regulator on vent pipe.

5Cook 20 minutes with pressure regulator rocking slowly.

6Let the pressure drop off of own accord.

7Add parsley to soup just before serving.

8Yields 4 to 6 servings.
