Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 (20 oz.) can Dinner Cuts or Rounds
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/4 tsp. parsley
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 c. juice from Dinner Cuts and mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. blanched almonds
  • milk

Directions

    Drain steaks and mushrooms, reserving juice.

    Dip steaks in beaten egg and bread crumbs.

    Fry in oil until brown.

    Saute onions, mushrooms, almonds and parsley.

    Alternate layers of steaks, onions and mushrooms in casserole dish.

    Combine 1 cup of juice with sour cream; pour over casserole.

    Add milk, if necessary.

    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly and top is lightly browned.

    Let stand a few minutes before serving.
