  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. shortening or oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • fresh fruit and whipped cream or Cool Whip

Directions

    Grease and flour an 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan or a 9-inch round pan.

    Beat all ingredients until well blended and pour into pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool.

    Serve with fresh fruit and whipped cream or with Cool Whip as desired.
