Venison Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. deer, cut in 1-inch cubes
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 to 3 large potatoes
  • 10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • tsp. salt
  • pepper to taste

    Cut up onion.

    Microwave until soft.

    In silverstone pan brown meat.

    Add onion and water and heat to boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer, covered, about 1 hour.

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Pam large casserole dish and pour mixture into it.

    Pare and thinly slice potatoes.

    Place on top of meat mixture.

    Mix remaining ingredients and pour on top.

    Bake 1 1/2 hours until potatoes are tender.
