- 3 lb. venison loin
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1 c. olive oil
- 1 1/4 tsp. crushed oregano
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 large onions
- 3 large bell peppers
- 1 lb. bacon
Directions

1Chop and smash garlic.

2Combine lemon juice, olive oil, crushed oregano and garlic in a large, heavy-duty plastic bag. Cut venison into 2-inch chunks and place in bag, closing the bag with wire tie.

3Shake well and marinate for 4 to 6 hours, turning the bag every hour.

4Peel and quarter onions, cut bell pepper into 1 1/2-inch squares and cut bacon in 1 1/2-inch pieces. Prepare a charcoal fire.

5Alternate chunks of venison, bacon, onion and bell pepper on skewers.

6(Place bacon on both sides of venison on skewers.)

7Turn skewers slowly until done.
