- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) venison roast
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- butter
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
Directions

1Lay roast on aluminum foil.

2Sprinkle with soup mix and dot with butter.

3Wrap tightly in foil.

4Bake 3 hours in a 300° oven or until meat is tender.

5Remove roast to hot platter.

6Rinse foil with remaining 1/4 cup of wine to pick up juices and pour over meat.

7Serve immediately with buttered noodles as a side dish.
