- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 lb. venison roast
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Mix flour with salt and pepper.

2Rub mixture all over roast. In the bacon grease, brown roast on all sides in a large Dutch oven.

3Add rest of ingredients.

4Cover and cook slowly for 3 hours.
