- 4 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick cure salt
- 2 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
- 2 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. Tabasco (optional)
Directions

1Mix together in a bowl and refrigerate.

2Knead 5 minutes each day for 4 days.

3On the 4th day, make 4 loaves (2 inches in diameter), 1 1/4 pounds each.

4Bake on cookie sheet (a broiler pan to catch grease) on 160° for 9 hours.
