- 1 large onion
- cooking oil
- margarine
- salt
- pepper

Directions

1Brown meat thoroughly in oil and melted margarine in heavy skillet.

2Add salt, pepper and garlic to taste while browning. Place steak in deep oven roasting pan; cover with thick slices of onion, mushrooms and mushroom juice.

3Cover with tight lid or aluminum foil wrapped tightly around roaster.

4Bake at 350° until tender enough to cut with fork.
