- 2 lb. venison
- 1/4 c. bacon drippings
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 4 potatoes, quartered
- 6 carrots, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 2 c. celery, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
Directions

1Cut up the venison into 1-inch cubes.

2Saute in bacon drippings until browned on all sides.

3Add water to cover the meat, seasonings and onion.

4Simmer, covered, for 2 hours.

5Add vegetables and cook until carrots are tender.

6Dissolve flour in some water to make a thin paste and stir it into the stew.

7Cook for about 5 more minutes.
