Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 lb. venison, cut in 1-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. water
Directions

1Heat cooking oil in large frying pan over medium heat.

2Add onion and garlic; cook until onion is yellow.

3Add venison and cook until browned.

4In another skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.

5Add mushrooms and cook until they have absorbed the butter and just start to give it up.

6Add to venison.

7Stir in all other ingredients except flour and water.

8Reduce heat to low and cook 2 hours.

9Stir together flour and water.
-
10Stir into venison and let cook 10 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Serve with noodles or rice.
