  • 1 1/2 to 2 lb. venison
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 2 lb. onions, finely chopped
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. mushroom steak sauce or 1 lb. mushrooms
  • 2 tsp. dark molasses
  • 1 c. sour cream
